The kids are back in school and rainy season is in full swing down here in Florida, and we all know what that means… It’s pumpkin season! That’s right, Pumpkin Pancakes are BACK at First Watch nationwide, and we’re once again teaming up with No Kid Hungry to increase our year-round contributions by donating a portion of sales from this wildly popular Fall favorite throughout the month of September! But more on that in our next blog post.

This season, a few of our Fall staples from past years are back by popular demand (Did I mention Pumpkin Pancakes?), and we’ve got some new flavors that I think will blow your taste buds out of the water.

I feel like all of these dishes are my children, so I try not to play favorites (parenting 101), but… I’d be lying if I said our new Braised Short Rib Benedict wasn’t at the top of my list this season. It’s definitely not your grandma’s Eggs Benedict. That Parmesan-crusted ciabatta and tender red wine-braised beef short rib topped with the most flavorful ingredients and Parmesan cream – My mouth is watering already. I think I’ll have to make a video for you to share more about this dish on the blog, so stay tuned for that. Yeah, it’s that good!

To share (if you’re into that short of thing…) –

MIXED BERRY TOAST

Thick-cut brioche toast with lemon ricotta cream, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, housemade granola and crème anglaise.

MILLION DOLLAR BACON

Four slices of our signature hardwood smoked bacon baked with brown sugar, black pepper, cayenne and a maple syrup drizzle.

Featured entrees –

BRAISED SHORT RIB BENEDICT

Parmesan-crusted ciabatta topped with red wine-braised beef short rob, arugula, house-picked onions, two poached cage-free eggs and Parmesan cream. Served with our fresh, seasoned potatoes.

TRUFFLED WILD MUSHROOM FRITTATA

A classic frittata with truffle-roasted shiitake and Crimini mushrooms, shallots and garlic & herb cream cheese topped with lemon dressed arugula. Served with fresh fruit and ciabatta toast.

PUMPKIN PANCAKE BREAKFAST

Two cage-free eggs cooked any style plus one of our signature spiced Pumpkin Pancakes and a Jones Dairy Farm grilled all-natural savory chicken sausage patty.

BUTTERNUT SQUASH BISQUE

Rich and creamy butternut squash soup sweetened with carrot and a touch or nutmeg. Garnished with sour cream and fresh herbs. (vegetarian)

From the Juice Bar: CARROT CRUSH

Carrot, orange, coconut water, turmeric and lemon.
