Industry veteran Jay Wolszczak joins fast-growing daytime-only concept as Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel
BRADENTON, Florida – May 2, 2018 – First Watch announced today that it has added a C-level restaurant industry veteran to its executive team. The leading breakfast, brunch and concept welcomed Jay Wolszczak as its new Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel. Wolszczak brings decades of experience providing sophisticated legal counsel and business management expertise on a global scale to First Watch, where he will lead the company’s legal interests in the areas of real estate and construction, trademark, risk management, regulatory compliance, employment law, corporate finance, transactions, mergers and acquisitions and other corporate functions as necessary.
Wolszczak most recently served as General Counsel and Senior Vice President of Business Affairs for Hard Rock International, Inc. in Orlando. For more than 20 years, he worked with the globally renowned brand, playing an integral role in the company’s growth from 30 to 181 cafes and from one to 25 hotels and 11 casinos during his tenure.
