The restaurant joins other leading concepts at the new 102-acre residential and entertainment complex

DANIA BEACH, Florida – January 2, 2019 – First Watch, the popular breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant with 16 locations in Southeast Florida, today announced that it will open its newest restaurant on Monday, January 7, in the Dania Pointe development. The new 3,200-square-foot eatery will open at 7 a.m. at 160 S. Compass Way and will employ about 25 people. In conjunction with the First Watch opening, Miami-based franchise group Daytime Café, LLC will donate all money raised from a pre-opening event to charity. Proceeds from the event at the company’s new restaurant will be donated to Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital Foundation is one of the region’s leading pediatric hospitals, offering a comprehensive scope of healthcare services and programs in a child-friendly atmosphere. It is a full-service hospital that treats minor illnesses, trauma-related accidents and some of the most complex medical conditions.

“The development at Dania Pointe is a truly remarkable community, and First Watch is excited to be a part of the variety of residential, retail, dining and entertainment options here,” said Ricky Warman, owner of Daytime Café, LLC. “As part of the opening, we’re proud to be partnering a fantastic organization like Joe DiMaggio Children’s to help families in our area.”

First Watch’s curated menu takes an elevated approach to traditional and innovative offerings made to order using farm fresh ingredients. It includes crave-able items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The new restaurant offers healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables and cage-free eggs as well as more indulgent, traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings. First Watch in Hollywood will also offer options from the restaurant’s Fresh Juice Bar – including the best-selling Kale Tonic – juiced in-house daily using only the highest quality fruits and vegetables.

The new restaurant will open with First Watch’s latest interior design, which combines farm fresh elements with a high-energy, urban vibe.

Daytime Café, LLC currently owns and operates four First Watch restaurants as well as 32 Papa John’s restaurants in Southeast Florida.

First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
