The new café is the company’s 10th Orlando-area restaurant
LAKE MARY, Florida – April 16, 2018 – First Watch, the popular Florida-based breakfast, brunch and lunch restaurant with nine Orlando-area locations, today opened a new restaurant in Lake Mary. The 3,500-square-foot eatery is located at 218 Wheelhouse Lane and employs about 25 people. In conjunction with the opening, First Watch will donate the roughly $6,000 raised at its pre-opening event to Lake Mary High School’s athletic boosters.
First Watch’s curated menu takes an elevated approach to traditional and innovative offerings made to order using farm fresh ingredients. It includes crave-able items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The new restaurant offers healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables and cage-free eggs as well as more indulgent, traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings.
First Watch in Lake Mary serves the restaurant’s new Project Sunrise coffee, grown by an independent group of female farmers in Huila, Colombia, called Mujeres en Café. The restaurant also offers options from its Juice Bar – including the best-selling Kale Tonic – juiced in-house daily using only the highest quality fruits and vegetables.
The new restaurant opened with First Watch’s latest interior design, which combines farm fresh elements with a high-energy, urban vibe.
First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access. First Watch has called the Sunshine State its home for more than 30 years and has been serving Orlando since 1993.
