“Daytime Café” continues expansion in Kentucky with Hamburg-Winchester Road location
LEXINGTON, KY. – Award–winning Breakfast, Brunch and Lunch restaurant First Watch today announced plans to continue its expansion in the Lexington area with the opening of a third restaurant in the spring of 2014. The restaurant will be located in Hamburg Place, just off of I-75 and Winchester Road.
The new 3,700 sq.ft. restaurant will occupy an end-cap space within a freestanding outparcel building and feature a patio for outdoor dining. The restaurant will employ approximately 25 people.
The Hamburg-Winchester Road First Watch is a part of a multi-unit franchise agreement with Holland Rosen Group, LLC announced in 2011 to open a total of eight restaurants throughout Lexington and Louisville by 2016.
“We are thrilled to continue expanding our presence with First Watch in Lexington and look forward to bringing the community around Hamburg Place this unique dining concept.” said Gary Holland of Holland Rosen Group, LLC.
The new Lexington restaurant will feature an interior design concept known as “Connect.” It connects traditional First Watch design elements with contemporary executions by maximizing natural light and incorporating color tones that convey the warm and inviting personality of the brand. The design also accentuates an open-kitchen concept, which reinforces First Watch’s honest approach to fresh food preparation.
“The Lexington/Louisville area has been a great region for First Watch,” said Ken Pendery, president and CEO of First Watch. “We are excited to be opening our third restaurant with an amazing partner like Holland Rosen Group and look forward to continued success in this vibrant market.”
A recipient of more than 200 “Best Of” accolades in markets across the country, First Watch features traditional favorites including pancakes, omelets, salads and sandwiches, as well as signature specialties such as the Chickichanga®, Healthy Turkey Omelet™, Fresh Fruit Crepes and Sunrise Select® Premium Blend Coffee. The special blend is made from slow-roasted, hand-selected, high-grown Panamanian, Colombian and Mexican coffee beans.
First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers guests complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
