The café is First Watch’s third Jacksonville opening this year
JACKSONVILLE – November 7, 2017 – First Watch, the popular Florida-based breakfast, brunch and lunch concept, announced today that it will open its newest restaurant on Monday, November 13, in Bartram Park. The 3,400-square-foot restaurant will open at 7 a.m. at 12540 Bartram Park Blvd., and it will employ about 25 people. The opening comes less than a month after First Watch debuted its new “concept” restaurant on Riverside Avenue.
Customers of First Watch in Bartram Park will be able to sample the eatery’s innovative menu, including popular dishes like Quinoa Power Bowls, Avocado Toast, Lemon Ricotta Pancakes and options from the Fresh Juice Bar, which are juiced in-house daily using high quality fruits and vegetables. The restaurant will open with First Watch’s standard interior design, which combines farm fresh elements with a high-energy, urban vibe.
“We’ve always known that Jacksonville, with its sprawling city limits, would be a great growth market for First Watch,” said Chris Tomasso, president of First Watch. “Our new opening in Bartram Park has been highly anticipated for a while, and we are excited to finally introduce First Watch’s fresh breakfast, brunch and lunch to this great community.”
First Watch’s curated menu takes an elevated approach to traditional and innovative offerings made to order using farm fresh ingredients. It includes crave-able items such as Avocado Toast, Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict, Farm Stand Breakfast Tacos and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. The new restaurant will offer healthy, flavorful favorites like house-made granola and pico de gallo, organic greens, house-roasted vegetables, cage-free eggs and 100% fresh-squeezed orange juice as well as more indulgent, traditional breakfast, brunch and lunch offerings. First Watch in Bartram Park will also offer options from the restaurant’s Fresh Juice Bar – including the best-selling Morning Meditation – juiced in-house daily using only the highest quality fruits and vegetables.
Since entering the market in 2011 with its first restaurant in Jacksonville Beach, First Watch has built a loyal, passionate following. Word spread quickly about this restaurant and its fresh, made-to-order breakfast, brunch and lunch menu which lead to additional locations opening throughout the area to meet the growing demand in Mandarin, at Beach & Hodges, on Southside and most recently – on Riverside.
First Watch serves its entire menu seven days a week from 7 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. The restaurant also offers customers complimentary newspapers and free Wi-Fi Internet access.
