Bradenton, FL (June 13, 2005) – First Watch Restaurants, Inc. has promoted Kevin Hall to director of brand. Hall has been with the restaurant company for 13 years, most recently serving as director of operations for the Tampa and Orlando area restaurants.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, N.Y., Hall is responsible for many of First Watch’s innovative menu items, including the “Not Guilty Your Honor” pita sandwich and the “Chickichanga” brunch dish.
In the newly created director of brand position, Hall continues to develop First Watch’s menu and oversee quality control as he assumes additional marketing, advertising, and customer relations responsibilities.
“Over the years, Kevin took on the roles of directing our food preparation, presentation, and the consistency of our service,” said Ken Pendery, CEO of First Watch Restaurants. “Now he will help protect our company’s reputation as we move forward.”
Hall’s promotion is part of First Watch’s initiative to build the managerial infrastructure to support its accelerated growth plans. The company has 52 restaurants and plans to open another 20 restaurants by the end of 2006.
His first restaurant job was washing dishes in a small restaurant in Vermont. Hall held various restaurant positions in New York City, including cooking at Andiamo restaurant in Manhattan for Chef Frank Crispo. He joined First Watch in 1992 as an assistant manager and moved up to general manager, regional manager and director of operations. Hall is relocating from Orlando to work from the corporate headquarters in Bradenton, Fla.
First Watch restaurants serve Breakfast, Brunch, and Lunch exclusively and are open daily from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM First Watch has locations in Arizona, Kansas, Florida, Ohio, Kentucky, Oklahoma, Missouri, and West Virginia.
